We love reading all of the great stories and memories sent in by our alumni, and especially enjoy seeing their great old photos. It seems that the great majority of our alumni base had a great time during their Beta days.

This makes us wonder...which era had the most fun?

Let us be the judge! Share the best stories and memories on from your era here!

Since I just turned alumni recently it's hard to pick just one memory with all of them so fresh in mind. I have tons of funny memories; including Tom Bracey drunkenly wondering off into the night in a quest for Taco Bell then ending up calling a fellow pledge brother demanding to be picked up because he had fallen over in the ditch and sprained his ankle. The only directions Tom could give were, "turn left!" After about thirty minutes of hunting for Tom with only those mysterious directions he was found, and promptly brought to Taco Bell. Another funny memory involves a rush eternally nicknamed "Deviant Dave" after coming to the house (needless to say Dave did not get pledged).
But all in all it would be too hard to pick one memory that would be my favorite. Perhaps initiation after I week. I enjoyed the bonds I made that will undoubtedly last a lifetime.

I would have to say, Iliff, that the Alpha Alpha pledge class had one of the best years living in the house in 2005. Between massive rush parties, sorority mixers, and turning Jacob Kirn's room (who left for the Marines) into the house beer pong room we still managed to have the highest GPA on campus and win Greek Week four years in a row! One of the funniest moments (scary at the time) was having Hickman show up during the "initiation week" for your class. One of the proudest moments we shared was having Drew Glover, who was president at the time, make the winning penalty kick against lambda chi in the Greek week soccer championship game. This gave us first place in soccer, the last event of the week, which pushed us into first place overall. The Beta pride we all experienced that day as we went into the awards dinner brought the entire house together, and was of course followed by a celebration party following... Alpha Alpha style.
